Yes if you use the HD clouds and your computer can't handle the density settings.
But things can be tweaked.

I couldnt fly without my REX clouds now. I have HD clouds etc, and with tweaks, as said.. its fine.

I've used REX for several months now and love it! You just have to tweak it to get the setting right for your system.
Also, BEWARE, you may find yourself purchasing FSUIPC in order to stop the rapid wind shifts which have been a big issue with this product....

Oh is that it? I turned off REX weather and use default because of this.

It is indeed, with FSUIPC you can tweak it but I still have the problems despite several months of researching and fiddling.

Yep I have been using REX for ages, great program and does the best weather and sky scenery, would not be without it. I can impact frame rates but if you follow their advice about settings and have Bojote's tweaks and fine tune your system it should run fine. Only badly loads up in really bad weather (lots of cloud etc.) and busy AI environment in a large capital city type airport and area.
Highly recommend REX to anybody.
