Hello,

I want to work with the super constellation -TWA, created by Mike Stone or Manfred Jahn and the main panel
-created by Hans-Joerg Naegele,Jan Kisser,Wolfram Beckert and Howard Sodja-. in my FS 2004 or FSX

Can anybody tell what I have to do exactly, because I am a "layman".

Thank you very much.

1.- Download both Connies; I prefer Manfred's versions
2.- READ the tutorials, they are a must in order to enjoy your planes
3.- Make a good flightplan. I suggest you google timetables from old times flight schedules.
4.- Crank up your engines and never let hydrolics fail on a Connnie
5.- Enjoy the sounds, smoke, oil spill and elegance of a Connie.

I would recommend downloading through the California Classic page - http://www.calclassic.com/sconnie.htm . This lists all the extras and updates that you may need as well as the main download. From memory it is no more difficult to install than any other add-on aircraft.

The main download should contain all the installation instructions you should need, but this page may help on general installation issues: http://www.calclassic.com/instruct.htm .

Also, if you get stuck, the California Classic forum will be a good place to ask, as I believe Manfred Jahn reads it regularly and if anybody can help you when stuck, he is the one! - http://calclassic.proboards.com/index.cgi

A couple of tips:

If you feel the panel is too complicated, beware of substituting another, simpler one because some features of the aircraft (such as the nose-wheel) will not work. I think this is the most-often asked question on the Constellation.
The second most-often question Pivek has already touched on - if you operate landing gear or flaps at a speed higher than permitted you lose hydraulic power and they will no longer operate.

Persevere - it is a great model and a pleasure to fly. Good luck.
