I have downloaded nearly the entire collection of WOAI packages.

How do i get the jetways to work for AI aircrafts?

Right now they just taxi to the gates and that's it. Also, how do i give the AI aircrafts a more realistic engine sound? They sound like my hair dryer.

You could edit each aircraft cfg and add the necessary info, which will cause no end of stutters as all the jet ways at any airport within a 35 KM radius of you kick into action, or just live without it and enjoy the smooth flying. The relevant info was left out for just that reason.

Sounds like I've just stumbled upon the Weapon of Mass Lagging.

but just for the sake of curiosity, what is it that I have to edit within the aircraft.cfg?

Do a search for "macx".....He has written and posted a very complete explanation of how to animate the jetways for almost any aircraft...I also have posted this info.....

If you can afford to buy either Traffic X or Ultimate Traffic, do so.

They're programmed to have jetways work, so you don't have to do the editing and risk frame rate drops....

Personally, I like the freeware WOAI as well (planes are more detailed), and am willing to live without the working jetways.

I see no reason why a jetway connecting to a WoAI aircraft would cause more FPS drop than that same jetway connecting to Traffic X or UT aircraft.

I was going by this:
You could edit each aircraft cfg and add the necessary info, which will cause no end of stutters as all the jet ways at any airport within a 35 KM radius of you kick into action, or just live without it and enjoy the smooth flying. The relevant info was left out for just that reason.

I've never tried personally to edit the .cfg's myself. Thanks for posting that info, though. Something to consider.......

All depends on the traffic slider (number of aircraft) and the scenery complexity slider (number of jetways).
And on your computer. And on what your preferences are.
I like the jetways connecting to the AI aircraft (otherwise wouldn't have written the above file), so I can live with the temporary stutters when coming near an airport.
