If the queen does not want to shutdown her engine, the queen does not shut down her engine!

I had some odd occurances while Flying the PMDG: Best Add-on ive found. It's a great plane now that I figured out how to fly it. Though some features still escape me.

One thing, I saved my flight. Cold and Dark at the gate last night. Come back today and loaded the flight up. Turned the time to current local time. And Engines #1, 2 and 3 all had
smoke bellowing out from them! I have not ever set anything to malfunction or catch on fire. I Blew the bottles into the engines. (A in to 1, B into 2 on the left wing, and A and B into 3 on the right)

No change Still bellowing smoke!
I tried starting them to motor them over to blow the fire out. They started...
So I exit and re enter the flight.

Anyhow I come back everyhing is okay. I go to start engines, and I noticed that Number 2 started along with Number 1. Thats odd. Also a very strong APU!!
I only pulled the s tarter for Number 1. Well anyways, I start up 3 and 4 and I'm on my way. I depart KONT and land at KPHX.
Well, I taxi to the gate, and stop. I make sure the APU is running and transfer to APU power, then I hit CTRL + F4 to shut down the engines, I go to the throttle
quadrant, and make sure all four fuel switches are moved to off. I Check the gauges, and number 2 is still running. I turn off the fuel pump and bleed air.. Its
still idleing. It's still makeing noise... The generator and hydraulcis are not functioning on it, however its still showing N2 64% N1 25% I forgot the EGT and FF of 900 lbs / hour.
The Add Ons Fuel menu would not let me completly drain the tanks. But Ive experianced flameout before by turnign the fuel pumps off.. so I check the overhead panel...
and fuel pumps ARE off.
I throttle up the engine, and it stays at idle.
This is very odd....
Just thought I'd share. Anyone know what's going on with it? I think I probably just have some
non standard panel configureation thing going. Im done with FSX for today anyhow Ive got other stuff
to do before work.
Take care,
-Jonathan

For complex aircraft, it is advisable to have a Microsoft default flight saved as your FSX startup default flight. You can then switch into your selected aircraft/airport. When saving scenarios with complex aircraft it is best not to make those saved flights as the default startup flight.
