Hello,
I've bought RoF as a DvD-Version.
Now, installed the game. But if I want to registy it, there comes only this website: http://store.neoqb.com/Logon.aspx

It says:
Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)

Ok.. I've looked into the Insatll direction of RoF and started the game directly from ROF.exe.
The game is running. I'm coming to the Login-Section. Because I have no account I clicked on the Registry-button.
And now ROF directed me to the ROF-Website. I could registy myself.. with key, nickname etc. and of course I've done that.
The activation-E-Mail reached me and I activated the game "succesful".

But when I'm starting the game again through ROF.exe and I want to log in me, it says:

#2 Your connection to master server was temorary lost. Check your internet connection.

..And yes, my internet runs very well!

Please help! What can I do?? I don't want to pay 19 € for nothing.. :/

Rise of Flight looks great, and I certainly would buy it, but;

Why on earth would I want to buy something that has to be activated over the internet every time I want to use it?

I would be a hostage to the goodwill of people who I don't know and have no reason to trust.

Tell you what, put another five bucks on the price and cut out the online registration, and then I'll buy it.

You have been misinformed my friend. You do not have to be online to play. It does not need to be activated "every time you play it" either. All you need to do is enter your CD key when you first install it and create a login. This is even achievable on dial-up. :) Afterwards you are only required to login if you want to do multiplayer, or have your single player statistics recorded in their league tables.

Oh and Andi why are you not asking this in the RoF forums? I'm guessing that you have this fixed by now as your post was from quite a while ago.

Well, here's where I got the misinformation; from this very forum.

"One thing that pisses me off though is that you need to be online in order to play it, since the keycode they give you in order to play the game is stored online. It does not matter if you just wanted to play a single player mission, career mode or anything, you need to be online in order for the game to just start."
