Although using the old resolution of "square" monitor (1600x1200x32) the new widescreen is unable to "use" the FS9. It trembles terrible. I checked fs9 config sys, but there is no change compared to the earlier configuration. I am using NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275. And I am still on windows XP prof + 3 updates. Is there any idea to overcome the problem? (By the way: No problem with FSX)
Thanks Franco

Use the native resolution of the monitor - don't force it into the square configuration?

I use a widescreen monitor for FS9. Use the monitor's native resolution - you will probably find that the refresh rate is around 60 Hertz. My picture is rock steady but the gauges are oval shaped instead of circular. Not a problem for me.

Also, make sure you are using the latest drivers for your GTX275 graphics card. Fine tune your display with Nvidia Inspector using the settings listed here: http://www.simforums.com/forums/nhancer-settings-for-new-drivers-updated-v1932_topic36586.html

You can download the free Inspector tool here: http://blog.orbmu2k.de/tools/nvidia-inspector-tool - scroll down through the German till you come to 'Downloads'. This tool will set up your card for best performance/quality. It can also be used to overclock your card but that is not its main function, and unless you know what you are doing, I would avoid!
