REinstalling FSX problem

I have today uninstalled fsx and subsequently gone through the reinstall process.However when I enter my product activation key it tries to validate through the internet connection but it keeps stating that it cannot make a connection with the server.I do have a fine internet connection.

I am wondering whether or not anyone else has experienced this problem when re installing FSX.

I would welcome any feedback.

Maybe the server is really down. You could try again later and see what happens.

The other possibility could be that your firewall is blocking FSX. You will have to adjust your firewall settings to allow FSX to connect to the Internet.

Usually something to do with server permission. Did you add FSX.exe to the permissions list in the Firewall?

You may be able to get around it by opening a browser window, minimising it, then launching FSX and validating.
