Having fun with my new FSX install....

downloaded and installed the Super Connie L1049G package, and the update.

I loaded the base L1049G just fine. Brought up FSX, and was able to see the TWA livery during an initial free flight. So feeling good, I launched into the "update" for the L1049, and that's when things went south. The Super Connie thumbnail is available, and I can select the aircraft for free flight. But then after I do, the aircraft preview is a base white model with no livery colors. I tried flying it, and there were no cockpit graphics, etc. Everything about the aircraft was all white.

So I blew away the L1049 sub folder in the SimObjects/Airplanes folder, and tried just copying in the "base" L1049. Which I did, but yet I still only see the base white model aircraft in the preview... RATS!!! what am I doing wrong?

I really love the Super Connie, and wanted to go flying around in it. Unfortunately no.

Anyone share some insight for this newb?

kind regards,

-Jav
