Headin' To Kilimanjaro - Leg 2

You'll be glad to hear I just about had time to make my connection which departs from Charles De Gaulle's Terminal 2 at 10:25, bound for the beautiful beaches of the south of france. It's sweltering hot on the tarmac, 35C (94F), as we start boarding Air France A321 F-GTAM

Pushing back, and for the second flight in a row we make an on time departure

A LOAD of company traffic around, most of it bigger than us!

A triple seven roars along 26L while we taxi towards the holding point

We're behind a jumbo, maybe time to tighten seatbelts, we could get bounced around a bit!

Lining up while the Queen of the skies heads for San Francisco

As we get airbourne I notice a few flashes of lighting in the clouds (but couldn't catch them in a shot unfortunately), looks like the start of a summer thunderstorm, so let's get out of here quickly!

Climbing over a beautiful Paris skyline

We get shaken about quite a bit in the clouds

Finally, it's clear blue skies all the way as we cruise at FL300

The alps are looking rather majestic during our initial descent, and I gladly recieve the latest weather for Nice, thankfully it's much cooler at 25C (78F) thanks to the wind coming off the sea

Approaching the glorious med while being vectored for an ILS approach onto runway 4L

At the risk of sounding unprofessional... revenge has never been so sweet - a 737 coming in behind us has to go-around, payback for my go-around in the first leg

I've already done the next flight, which will be posted tommorow, would have finished the one after too, but water started pouring through the cieling while I was starting my descent! Luckily it was saved before, so I'll be finishing that up tommorow
