I'm trying to learn how to use the Garmin 1000 panel. In the Learning Center article, it says you can use the small Nav button to adjust KHz (the numbers to the right of the decimal point, I think) and the large (outer) Nav button to adjust MHz (I believe the numbers to the left of the decimal point). I can only adjust the numbers to the right of the decimal point, and can find no way to adjust the numbers to the left of the decimal point. Does anyone have any advice on that?
Thanks!

Frankly my garmin 1000 experience is almost a big zero, but i know how to use other radios .
i tried to fly around jfk airport and land on 22left and i couldnt be able to set that knob you mentionned.
so i switched to basic cessna, set all radios and approach, right before catching glideslope i switched back to G1000 and !!!tadada!!!..the frequence was diplayed as i was trying to do before.
I guess you are not the only one who cant figure it out... hope another simmer gives us a big help here :)

Unforunately it doesn't work that way.
Imagine an invisible square around the knobs.
Top parts adjusts the big numbers.
Bottom parts adjust the decimals.
