767PIC Flight Planning on 2002

I need help with planning a flight using the FMC. I've downloaded the FMC manual from wilco and no matter what I do I still cannot get a flight plan to work. I've updated all my Nav Files, I've entered the Airport I.D.s into the FMC and still no luck!! What am I doing wrong? Other than that this is a great Airplane to fly.

Are you trying to enter a flightplan manually? Or are you attempting to import a preprepared flight plan into the FMC? That would make a big difference in what advice people will give you. If it is the former, you need to follow the tutorial flightplan described in the manual. If it is the latter, then do a search of the PIC forum over at AVSIM for threads about what you need to do to import the flightplans. There was also a thread here about this issue several weeks ago.

Ken, either way I'm not getting it to work. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I would like to make one using the Flight Planner and import it, but I still can't seem to get to work. Thanks for the help.

Could you provide us with more information...

What info you are entering into the FMC, what problems or errors you are experiencing, etc. etc...

While FMC programming is complex, with experience its not difficult.

Give is some more info to go on and I am sure that we can figure out a way to lend a hand!
