Idle speed

I just performed a "Riley Rocket" conversion on the Extra 300, but the idle speed is too fast (1800) and it is difficult to land the plane without pulling mixture to idle cutoff. I tried reducing the scalars for idle mechanical efficiency and for friction by half, but the idle rpm slowed by a few hundred revs only. Any help would be appreciated. :-)

This is the only plane I have tried an engine mod on.
