This plane is just absolute FUN to fly, not only in the the actual winter war scenes provided with the simulation, but also flying around remote Alaska and Canada during with the season set to winter. Just take off from a small village (such as Coldfoot, Alaska or Myrtle, Alaska) and look for places to land within the mostly thick forests below. When you find a clearing, give the plane full flaps, cut the power, and try and touch down between the trees and bushes. You will find yourself sliding along the terrain and using the rudder to steer clear of trees and bushes as you come to a stop. Then, having safely stopped, take the proverbial deep breath and look for a way to fly out of the maeshift airfield you've just landed in. Great way to see remote regions of Alaska and other parts of the Great North (or extreme south, as the case may be... anyone for Antarctica?). It is a great test of flying skills. The program is very realistic in that you do not crash if you simply graze the tops of trees or branches while you are a bit up off the ground. However, don't try running into even bushes when you're close to the ground.

This is a great model with numerous variants. Takes off on a rather short runway and has good power. Get it and have a grand old time exploring snow-laden wilderness!
