I've been reading through past posts and looking over the website for WOAI and still wonder what exactly does this do? I use Ult Traffic for generating aircraft and it seems to do a good job. Like everyone, though, I'm always looking for improvements! Does this replace aircraft? Add additional aircraft? What can I expect different?
FS9 only at this time.

Ultimate Traffic gives you the entire world of AI traffic. But one of the problems with trying to model realistic schedules across the entire world is finding aircraft models and repaints for those where UT has to substitute models, or use generic repaints.
WoA provides an airline by airline package - with exact models and repaints for each airline. WoA does not make anything for AI. They work to gather the best flightplans and the best models and the best repaints to put out complete packages for individual airlines. A lot of talented people trust WoA to use their work properly and provide an easily installed/ removed package.
Many of us used UT in FS2004, to supplement our AI plan. We use the airline packages available from WoA and disabled those airlines in UT. That gave us the much better quality models, repaints and schedules of WoA - but the fill in traffic from UT for airlines which WoA has not been able to create yet.

I just started using WOAI last week and after downloading over 130 + different airlines it really makes each airport you land at look alive and buzzing with activity! The one major thing that I like about WOAI is that it recognizes the home airport and places the main carrier airline at that airport. Then you see a couple assortment of airliners from neighboring airports or Intl flights spread out over much of the airport! It is a really nice touch to any payware scenery. It works with most of the airports both payware and freeware. IT reads the afcad to know what needs to be placed and I guess the rest fly to the airport on flight plans.
Never used Ultimate Traffic before but WOAI will surely compliment that package and further enhance you AI experience. It has an easy to use interface, just download the installer (version 2.04 is the latest) then go to their website and download the packages via avsim and right here. Unzip the installer to any folder of your choice (If you have external hard drives I would create a folder named WOAI and unzip the installer in that folder, then send all the zip folders for the airlines to that same folder) It will read the zip file contents when you use the installer and place everything where it needs to be one two three. simple with no hassle!
Then look forward to seeing sections of the airport occupied like in real life with the airline that should be at certain gates!

WOAI really makes a difference in putting life into the sim. Years ago, I used to collect the packages for "Project AI".....and whatever (Few) airline packages don't exist for WOAI, I simply install the PAI versions. You can't go wrong with WOAI.

This is good advice. If you get to grips with the "Import" function in UT, you can go further and use the flightplans from WOAI to Import a new airline into UT ("Air France New" for example). Then you can use the UT facilities such as "aircraft assignment" and create timetables.
