It is now that point in the year where, when I make one of my frequent visits to this site (our site, as I like to think of it), I ponder over all the names that have been visiting and posting here over the years and are still doing so, and I spare quite a few thoughts for those whose names sadly no longer appear - for whatever reason.
Our little community - for that is what it is - is quite dynamic, and has been in existence for many years. I can vouch for that for I have been coming here for many years myself. New friends replace old, and that is how it should be.
To this end I would like to take this opportunity to thank Nels for providing us with this place where we can talk FlightSim, where we can learn, where we can share our experiences with others, and where we can make new friends. I also offer my thanks to the Moderators, who work tirelessly and for no reward to ensure that visiting these forums is a pleasant experience - for ALL. Not the easiest of jobs but they do their best to be fair to everybody.
So! To Nels, to the Moderators and to all visitors to this site - both new and old - I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful New Year.
Best regards
John
