CoolSky Super 80 Pro for FS9 - - - Well sort of...

Hi,

OK - while not hard - I figured out how to port the FSX Super 80 Pro "free" repaints to my old FS9 Classic version... It definitely breathes some new life into my old CoolSky Mad Dog... Hah - I've now ported many of the McPhat Freeware - Carl Hudson - and - Terry Gaff - paints of the MD80 over to the older model... The hardest part was figuring out how to trick the Flight1 Repaint Manager to unpack the files for me... They look sooo good... One of my favorites is shown below... I've also made some mods using Reality XP and ISGsim products to get upgrade to a glass/FMC equipped MD-80... OK - I'm learning how to handle the larger stuff...

This is one of the few payware aircraft that I have purchased and still have never gotten enjoyment from it. I've never successfully flown this from one airport to another. Something always messes up with the AP or some other problem. Or the takeoff will be horrible and the plane goes crazy as soon as you engage the AP. I've spent some time over at the Super 80 forums as well and still just can't get this aircraft to work for me. It's frustrating because I really want to like it. I'm sure there's stuff I'm doing wrong but without knowing anyone else who uses this, or even flight sim for that matter IRL, there's not many more options to turn to. Disappointing.

You should get the Flight 1 Super 80. I've got it and it's a hoot to fly! :)
