What screen are you referring to - the overall computer screen (Desktop) perhaps?
If so, you need to get into "windowed mode" by pressing your ALT key (hold it down) and then the ENTER key. Pressing that combo again will return you to Full Screen mode.

David, did you follow a clairvoyance course ?

If you are refering to the toolbar icons, set the toolbar to "always on top" and use the windowed mode previously mentioned.
More detailed information is advised to get a reply that isn't a guess...Don

I just was in a hurry and rather than "beg" for the umpteenth time for "more details", I decided to go ahead and venture a guess (as so many poster do) as to what the OP was really referring to.
I should have waited to see if the OP would respond - as that is really the only way for new posters to learn what they should include in their questions.
However it happens so often that I am begining to think the old axiom regarding leading a horse to water is true!

you must admit, these cryptic questions do keep us on our toes and they are fun to see and guess what the op is on about.
My guess is that the op wants to arrange the aircraft thumbnails in the browser in some sort of order other than default, myself i would like to see a most flown order but it wont happen in any version of flight sim because its to simple and handy.

Perhaps we should get a "lottery" going - the one who guesses correctly what the OP is really asking gets an all expense paid vacation to .................... (fill in the blank).

I really try to put my questions as clearly as I can. I love your humor. I assume I have earned the expensive paid vacation as I am probably the only one who knows what the question is about. So David, I'll send you my address to send the tickets to.
Again, When I start FS, the computer screen is completely 'filled'.
To start addons, icons like e.g. FSXpilot have to be started from the taskbar (which is not visible). I followed your suggestions but unfortunately they donot work.

I fly in windowed mode, hide menubar, and taskbar autohide. The taskbar is always available to me by putting the cursor where it should be when visible...Don

I do exactly the same.
I wonder if the OP has the auto-hide option turned on without realizing it and has just not placed his cursor where he needs to when in windowed mode.

Could he be referring to the icons we have on opening screen when we turn our computer on such as Microsoft Outlook , Microsoft Works, the big globe for Google Earth and last MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIM. If I am wrong just excuse me and I'll mosey on
