Remember the old Falcon 4.0 from Microprose? Quite a community came about, updating an old program far beyond how it was originally envisioned.
My question is, since Dreamfleet , for quite some time, has made it clear that they can no longer support this program, why not release it (and it's source code) to the general public as freeware, so that the fans can bring it back to life?
This was a much-loved FS aircraft, especially for the beautifully rendered cockpit. It's so sad to see it waste away. There's a whole new generation of FS pilots out there now, whom I'd guess, have never even seen this beautiful rendition of Boeing's workhorse.
How about it, Dreamfleet?
Knock-knock... Anyone home?

First of all, as a Junior Member with 96 posts, I am a little surprised that you even know about this old timer. You have good taste.
For what it is worth if you still fly FS-2004 there is a fix for this great old aircraft thanks to Peter McCleland. Unfortunately, it does not work in FSX. IMHO it is still a classic FS contribution.
Somewhere in my stack of archived CD/DVD backups I may or may not still have the original workup.
However, a simple Google search for "Dreamfleet 737" resulted in the following link which at first glance appears to be the same set of modifications.

Good luck:

RT,
Thanks for the link. Peter's merge kit for the DF737 is still available on his web site:
http://www.petermcleland.com/
Yes, it is for FS2004, and I successfully used it. I lost it when I upgraded to FSX on my desktop computer, but have since, re-installed FS9 on my laptop. I do plan on getting the ol' bird reinstalled there.
Yeah, I'm a Junior member, as I was offline for awhile and had to get a new login for the forums here back in 2005. Actually, have been simming since 1983, with "IFR", by Ronald James Wanttaja, on the Commodore Vic-20. I've since owned "IFR" for the Commodore 64, and Flight Simulator II for the C-64 as well as the Commodore Amiga. After uprading to an "IBM Compatible", I've owned FS98, FS2000, FS2002, and of course, FS2004 and FSX.
p.s. Just noticed this is my 100th post and I've been upgraded from "Junior Member" to "Member". I guess I should post more often instead of just being mainly "read-only". haha

Wrong there. I use the DF737 in FSX. And yes, it is still today one of the best addons!

Boy! Some time it is a blessing to be wrong. I will have to research this a bit. Back when, I was unable to get this to work in FSX. Thanks for the update. If you have anything to add relative to method and anything else necessary to get it to work in FSX it would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, first I did the merge as usually, which is ok for fs9.
Then I edited the panel.cfg again and actually use the panel not with the original FFX 737-400 but with aFFX/sga 737-200 by Charles Fox
First step is check if your panel.cfg part loks like this, youŽll have to substitute gauges 30, 31, 32 or import thewm from fs9.
Forgot to say...when using this panel you have to disable fsuipc.dll (just rename it to fsuipc.old) otherwise autopilot wont work.

Nope. The fix works also in FSX, with just switching one gauge. I HAVE MY DF737 flying in FSX
Just google
