Under your settings click "Customize" and uncheck "Preview DX10" and it should say that some of your changes require a restart of FSX, so restart FSX and voila you have turned off DX10 :P.

seems wierd but I dont have that preview DX10 setting above the lens flare option in my display setting. Could it be my video card? I am using a NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT.0

As you don't specify your Operating System we simply cannot say.
Anything prior to Vista is not DX10-capable. But it could easily also be your hardware or a system setup issue, or you haven't installed the correct version of FSX.

Incompatible with your version of FSX maybe? Which aircraft?
I also asked you for additional information but as you only seem to want to provide some of what I asked, I can't help you, and now there's something good on the telly.

f16jockey 2: Why do you have AA checked in FSX? Does using Vista (on it's own) give you good results for that option?
Scott: Try turning off 'Tool Tips'. That is what is probably giving you those 'white' screens.

Do you mean anti-aliasing or adv.animations ?
Anyway Chuck, I have no idea. I'm definitely NOT a hardware genius.

Chuck. As a former Vista 64 user, and now a W7 user, I always check AA in FSX. I get the jagged edges without it. Not using nHancer on my system.

Hi again, the answer to that Q is definitely NO !!! Look for yourself...
I took the liberty not saying which one is on/off.
