Aircraft stutter in FSX

Got a new computer i930 overclocked to 4 ghz, 6 gigs ram, ATI 5870 and I decided to just buy a new FSX. I notice that when I am flying near another aircraft, like in jet truck drag race, Pattie's plane stutters. Also the replay aircraft stutters slightly (although not as bad as in the last set up). Any suggestions, I have tried a repair / reinstall. Thanks.

This is how i cured mine ( i have a GTX470 )

Frame lock 31fps ( you can play with this a little if you want )
and under the display section of your fsx.cfg file put..

[DISPLAY]
ForceFullScreenVSync=True

This might not work but its worth a try.

I have a feeling that this is normal behaviour for fsx.

Are you talking about AI planes and also the trucks and cars on the roads below?

Ya they move in spurts and stutters as far as I know. If I recall, they are smooth if you lock at 20 (FSX Default). The AI planes and vehicles are animated at 20 fps? I can't remember. Try it and tell us.

Don't think it's a performance problem.
