2010 kmem2004.zip Memphis International (Vladimir Svoboda).

Fedex Mega-Hub building is textured, even showing the huge FEDEX sign. (Attachment 1) Still some building textures missing around it, including the military hangar at North Area Parking.

I'm still missing some building textures on the main terminal and passenger concourses. (Attachment 2) I have been through the main terminal too many times to count, on my way somewhere else, but once in the 70's I was there when Elvis was paged. (Could have been pranksters, but it didn't sound like it. Yes, it was before he died. But I digress...

The Radisson Inn on property looks fairly well with customers' cars parked and sign, however, I believe the gray surrounding it is meant to give the impression that it's on a raised area. Those textures seem to be missing. (Attachment 4)

I placed the Finneysground crosshair object over the end of RWY 36C and tried as best I could center over it. From this viewpoint, with my computer telling me the object is oriented at 360 degrees (see red font at top of picture), the runways may or may not be oriented correctly, I don't know a thing about runway alignment. (Attachments 5, 6, 7).:)

I figure I'll eventually get the textures I need. The only one I can name is Gerrish Gray's tree_02. Can't find it anywhere.

Well, thanks for looking. Even my frame rates drop, the traffic flow is good, with the correct aircraft going to the correct gates. No planes sticking half-way through a building or anything like that.

Oh, yeah, funny thing, today the taxiway signs went away. They were there yesterday. Nope, I didn't make any changes between times.

Svoboda, wherever you are, you did a great job, and this is my HUB airport, so I really appreciate that you took an interest in it so many years ago, and apparently have kept updating it.

I'll bet that with a more powerful computer and the right kind of tweaking to my scenery.cfg, this will be an insanely fabulous airport! :)

Great shots, but with regard to some of your comments, perhaps I can help a little. I had the same problem with the textures not showing up for the terminal buildings. I learned from some sceneries from FRF-Studios that you have to copy the texture files from KMEM and paste them into your main FS9/Addon Scenery/Texture folder. Then, the textures will appear. Try that and see if it works. Cheers!

Forgive me for poaching on this thread, but I feel I have earned the right.

This is what KMEM is supposed to look like...
http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/attachment.php?attachmentid=74470&stc=1&d=1282746637

If we zoom in we can clearly see a portion of the building that is mapped to Nova031.bmp.

http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/attachment.php?attachmentid=74471&stc=1&d=1282746663

The texture has been stretched a bit and flipped upside down, but clearly it is the right texture.

I explained to you how to fix this in this thread- http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showpost.php?p=1493036&postcount=17

If that was not clear or you need some more advice I am happy to help, just post back into that original topic and we will get you straightened out.

Lastly, simply because a runway is labeled 36 does not guarantee it will be oriented at exactly 360 degrees.

peace,
the Bean

Bean! Sorry I put this in the wrong Forum! (Doh!)

I'm trying to take up where we left off the other night when our little friend, Bruce, dismissed class. (And who could blame the little guy? Not only was it late, but that was a pretty gruesome bunch of sea-hooligans staring down on him like he was their appetizer! Whoa!:D)

Back to your screen shots of this morning. Fabulous!:) So realistic, in fact, that I could've sworn I got a glimpse of Elvis walking inside the terminal. Well....they're still pretty realistic, despite that lame attempt at humor.
With thanks here to b6ifc81, and with your good grace, may we please pick up where we left off the other evening in Newcomer's Forum?

My apologies for clicking the incorrect forum, ever-bidey. If you want to follow, just go up one forum from Screen Shots, and you can join the Bean and me in Newcomer's.

Thanks!:)

P.S. Bean! Thanks again~if I knew how, I'd move this whole discussion from S.S. to Newcomer's. I'm headed over there now.
