I love this web site. But one thing I would like to see improved is making a separate category for textures. One thing that frustrates me here is weeding thru all the 100's of textures to find a flyable aircraft. I think if you separated the textures in their own category it would make finding textures and flyables much easier for everyone. Thanks

I really don't know how much clearer things could be. If you'll notice, most, if not all files state right in the info about them whether it is a "repaint", or "textures only". Those descriptions also state which/whose model it is for, and that you need XXXXXX named aircraft for them to work.

If you will look carefully, many file decriptions have an icon to the left of the screen.

At the very bottom of the search screen is a description of what each icon means. IMHO this is not as good as having more categories (a seperate category for repaints as at least one other site does), but it does help the viewer understand what is in the package.

There's more to this than David mentioned, because those icons are also searchable. The problem here really isn't with the web site but how you are using it.

If you use the advanced search you can select to search on a wide variety of things, including whether a file contains a complete flyable plane. If that's what you want, include it as part of your search terms and the site will offer you results that are just what you are looking for. The end result is the same as if the files were separated into different sections.
