Was looking for something that was not related to tweaking but i came across this

http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=34141&PID=198187#198187

Another great guide out there :)

I've done a fresh install of fsx and tweaked some of windows based on this and followed his fsx settings. Fsx performance at EGLL ( Heathrow ) is the best i have seen so far with default fsx ai traffic so i need to increase that until my fps drops and then install trafficX and my addon aircraft :)

With all other tweaks and mods i have found that after a few days/weeks the performance of fsx has dropped so this one i do hope works for me and the performance stays :)

There are tons of guides out there, but by far this one has given me the best results and consider it the bible of FSX tweaking!

this is how much this one has helped me,

On the active runway of EGLL in the default 737/A321 i get around 24fps on take off ( this is with 64ish parked aircraft at the airport ), In my CLS 767-300 i get 14fps at the lowest point on take off with the same amount of parked aircraft :)

The only fps that count is the lower end of the scale as you dont want it to go to low but i do need to adjust fsx a little more so i get 16 to 18fps at EGLL with almost the same amount of aircraft parked there :)

Ive added some of the freeware aircraft i like and it still runs the same or better than the 767 so next i need to start adding the scenery i have :)
