I can tell everyone this much, shout out the author of the custom paints of aircrafts that you are flying! Especially if they are photo-real repainted freeware models! So much work, time and precision goes into designing those:eek:! I am learning first hand how to do high end repaints at this moment and I can tell you, it is not easy by any means. But it is manageable, and once you learn the tricks and trades, the bells and whistles of the program you are using! Then it becomes relatively easier (but not simple) to do just about any repaint!

As for me I am still working on an undisclosed project that will be my first ever repaint. All that I will say about it right now is that I didn't take baby steps and chose a simple repaint to do. I chose a very difficult one and all the tools I am learning to use to make it worth a task to take on. Its been about 1 week and the body alone is almost done!

More much later,
Mav

I couldn't help but bring it up because it is challenging as hell, But it is coming out really great! For a first repaint some of you might be stunned:eek:! All I will say at this point is that it is a very detailed repaint:)

I promised I wouldn't post any pics! As I have a lot of work to still do on my project! We rolled her out the hanger tonight to see what we had! She looked great, only a few errors (I am a rookie what would you expect). It is nothing that can't be corrected! Won't be discussing the nature of what went wrong but I can say that I know I will get much better at this as I learn more! So my rookie cards or as I would call em (House Paints) stay in the top secret files of MAVS AIRWAYS! for now but I am actually surprised at how well she looked and when she is done I know you guys will be very impressed with the end game!

I wouldnt expect comments, but I just want yall to know that I am getting there!:) So reserve my re-painters membership card! Here I come :D!
