ImageTool and the psd's need to be in the same folder. Saves in 32-bit w/alpha and no mips by default, you can change it to DXT3 by opening the .bat with Notepad and replacing "-32" with "-dxt3"

Click me (http://www.pairbus.com/esg/imagetool.bat)

You shouldn't really be converting your PSD to BMP

Save a copy of the PSD as a bmp. then you have something to fall back on.

Also unless you have performance issues you are better off leaving the BMP as 32 888-8 for quality reasons....especially if you have a gradient tint in the alpha as DXT compression causes it to turn the smooth gradient into distinct steps making metal look like it was wet patches:)

I tend to leave my main airframe as 32 bit and dxt the smaller details that do no show any degregation..props, fans pilots etc.

TBH I personally think batch converting is risky as you have no idea what's happening to the individual maps.

I like to keep it in my control

But each to his own

That's exactly what it's doing. It's not deleting or overwriting the psd's
