Hey guys,
I just started the IFR part of my ATPL training today with a short FNPT2 sim (http://www.alsim.com/ALX-FNPTII-MCC-MPL-Flight-Synthetic-Training-Device.php) session consisting of some basic instrument flying. Climbing, descending, rate one turns etc etc. Quite a lot of fun, but a serious change from the VFR flying up to now. I had some trouble keeping my instrument scan going. Luckily, we also have Flight Simulator X to try some of this stuff in.
Location: EHGG (Groningen Eelde Airport)
Weather: OVC 500ft, visibility 1500m and just a light breeze

Started out on runway 23, flew an outbound radial of EEL, made a climbing turn towards an inbound radial of EEL and after passing overhead the VOR a descending turn for the ILS runway 23. Not a whole lot to see along the way of course, so just two shots from the approach.

Not the best approach ever, but I was pleased to see I actually ended up in front of the runway :). Anyway, this post is more text than screenshots, so I would like to invite you to post some of your IMC shots if you have any :).
