Hello all,
As I flying mostly an airliner (the amazing DF737) between big airports it's frustrating to be sent for a go-around by the tower for a Cessna (at EDDF, for example).
So tell me please if/how can I remove the "little birds" from the AI traffic... }>
Thanx

Nice flights!

Well you can click on the IFR traffic only, but that won't get rid of all of them. You can use TTools and AFCAD to get rid of the Cessnas at tthe big airports thy wouldn't be at anyway.

If ye're any good you can land anyway... just miss them. Land long if they're on the threshold, land short if they're rolling away. Go around if you can't miss. Totally unrealistic but what good's a sim if it won't let you be a rebel??????/

No you dont. The tools needed are already described (TTools, AFCAD).
However it needs a bit of work and imagination.
What I did:

1) Use AFCAD to create controlled airports with gates in the vincinity of large airports (I used EDDF Frankfurt and EDFE Egelsbach). Having converted uncontrolled airports near large hubs is the first step.

2) Use ttools, look for the small planes departing and arriving at hubs and then just divert them to the next smaller (self created) airport.

3) Cessnas and all the other small GA stuff is now "banned"

happy landings

Thanx Mike,

I'll give it a try though it sounds soooo complicated to me... or better, I'll get a gun and shoot them down one by one :-)

Nice flights!

You can use the excellent AI Shuffler to de-select any aircraft you don't want from the traffic. The program will take only the aircraft you selected and build an entire traffic scheme distributing traffic according to each aircraft's origin in the world (airline or tail number). Simple as pie.

I can't imagine the likes of AA and BA would tolerate Cessna's flying into Heathrow all the time forcing 747's to use another $1000 worth jet fuel on a go-around!!
