I want my planes to appear as AI Traffic. What is the best and easiest way of going about this.
I have heard of people having problems with their aircraft i.e. no wheels etc. I currently only have the POSKY aircraft, am i likely to get problems.
I have heard of a program called AI Shuffler which seems like it may be what i need. Is it any good? I have read that it puts aircraft at airports depending on the airline and the country the airport is in. Can i change this. I dont have many aircraft and dont want to see only 15 Air France planes in Paris and nothing else because i dont have any other european planes etc.

First, yes, you are likely to have problems with POSKY planes, i.e., no undercarriage, etc.
Second, e-mail me on acro103010@aol.com and I'll tell you how to get your aircraft to act as AI planes - a step by step guide. It's quite simple, really.
Thirdly, I'll give you a list of European (mainly British) aircraft that'll work in AI.
Regards.

1. Download "Traffic Tools" by Lee Swordy
2. Make folder for "Traffic Tools" in windows explorer
3. Traffic Tools comes with 2 exe folders, Compile and Decompile
a - click on decompile, program will find FS2002 and execute
b - click on complie, program will find FS2002 and execute
4. Put Traffic Tools (TTools) on your desktop for east access
5. To add aircraft do the following...
a - open the aircraft.cfg folder of the aircraft you wish to
show up in your flight simulator with notepad
b - The title of the aircraft should be on top, e.g.
"NAMC YS-11 Piedmont Airlines"
c - Go to your TTools folder and open the "aircraft" document
d - There are 36 aircraft in FS2002, under aircraft 36 you
will enter your aircraft like this:
AC#37,275,"NAMC Piedmont YS-11"
- Please note that the title in quotation remarks has got
to match the title in the aircraft.cfg folder exactly for
the aircraft to show up.
e - Select "Save"
f- open the flight plans document, you should get about
23,000 flight plans when they all list. Make a flight
plan for your aircraft under the last flight plan listed
g - Your flight Plan needs to be like the following
AC#37,N4587,99%,6Hr,IFR,00:30:00,01:10:00,070,F,5594,KART,01:40:00,02:15:00,060,F,5595,CYCC
- The flight plan needs to go on ONE line only-
What this line is all about?
AC#37 - That is the aircraft you added
N4587 - This is the registration of the aircraft, You can type whatever you like for this section
99% - That is the degree of the ATC percent that this aircraft will show up. This is found on the FS Main menu under OPTIONS,then SETTINGS
IFR - The aircraft is flying under IFR conditions, you can also use VFR
00:30:00 - The time the aircraft will leave its originating airport in ZULU TIME (GMT). Since aviation uses Z time, all your flight plans will be in Z. If you want a plane to depart Atlanta at 8:00pm Local Time, the Z time will be 1:00am Z because Atlanta is (-4) from GMT (Standard time)and (-5) Daylight Savings Time.
After the takeoff time type 00:00:00, the compilier will compute the arrival time at the destination airport for you.
Type the ICAO (airport code) for the Destination Airport
The next line is the return leg back to the origin airport, leave enough time so the plane can land then depart, about 30 minutes up to several hours can be entered. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE FLIGHT PLAN STARTS AND ENDS IN THE SAME 24HR PERIOD. If your plane leaves at 00:01, it needs to return by 00:00.
Put 00:00:00 for the return time again like in the first leg, the compiler will compute the arrival time for you
Type the letter "F", I believe this means "Flight Plan" but I'll have to look at the directions by Mr Swordy from the download
Finally, Type the airport code for the aiport that the plane originated from.
Thats it! Now select SAVE
Go back to your TTools folder and click on "Decompile"
When that is done,
Go back to your TTools folder and click on "Compile"
Hit ENTER to finish.
Exit TTools and turn on Flight Simulator and you should see your aircraft.
NOTES ON AIRCRAFT: It is best to use the repaints of the default aircraft, Frame rates are good and the landing gear show up. All GMAX built aircraft will have landing gear, but the Frame rate will be really slow for some aircraft. Be aware that even the aircraft was built for FS2002, It's landing gear may not show up. FS2002 aircraft work, but again, no landing gear will appear.
