As many of you know, skyservice has stopped all of their flights as of april 1st because they have gone into recievership. The reason being they owe Thomas Cook Travel 8.8 billion dollars for their leases and for other things. They also have a debt to pay of to sunquest vacations. What i am wondering is does anyone no for certain what is happening to the skyservice fleet???? Will Air Canada, or Air Transat or even Sunwing get any of their planes. I know they lease a lot of them but they own 3 757-200 and 2 A320's. What will happen to these planes, who is buying them or will they get added on to the Thomas Cook Airlines Fleet to help repay that 8.8 million dollar debt.

Your thoughts on this, i would love to get a %100 answer as to what is happening to their fleet.

Thanks!

At a guess Thomas Cook might have the A320s if the recievers decide it's a way to settle the debt. They won't want the 737-200s though, they're banned from Europe under chapter 3 noise regulations so would be useless to them.

757-200, not 737-200...;) They aren't banned...

:o:o My bad John, read it as 737, must be eye test time soon. In that case I guess the whole fleet would fit in nicely with what TCX run now.
