Hello there! I may not answer your question fully but I can try my best. I don't own a G27, but I do own a G25.
First of all, i have heard that the internal workings (cogs etc) are set out better and are of a new design giving the wheel a smoother feel to turn than the G25. The pedals are pretty much Identical to the G25, apart from they have adjustable faces (so you can 'heel-toe' easier in a comfortable position for you) although I find that heel-toeing is fairly easy on the G25, but I guess everyone has different sized feet etc. The gear lever or 'shifter' as the colonials call it, is the same, apart from you cannot change it from the 6-speed manual to semi-automatic, which i think is a shame because the semi-auto was a really nice feature. The wheel itself i think is slightly bigger and the only other change are the extra buttons on the wheel and the rev monitor lights.
Overall, they are pretty similar, but if you can find a new G25, they are cheaper and almost as good.
Heres a good video that does a very thorough comparison between the two and is well worth waching.
Watch from about 4:30 to get strait into it.

Hope this helps! :)

thanks for the info sir. but i did some reasearch and the games i play won't support the 6 speed shifter. i have a wheel coming this coming week that my games can work on. as they only support the up/down type of shifter. if ya know what i mean? ya push forwards to shift up and pull back for down shifting. lol

lol yea i know what you mean, thats the Semi-automatic ;) but the G25 has that :) but in that case that your games dont work with it, get some games that do! :D Test drive unlimited, Race 07, GTR-Evolution, STCC, Race ON, Rfactor all work amazingly well with my G25. i'd definitely recommend :)
