Many of you wont remember our good friend Rey Lopez (UAFORLO), but he was a long standing and very respected member of this forum who sadly and suddenly passed away a couple of years ago. For those of us that do (and dont), lets all raise a glass this Christmas, and remember Rey, these are for you buddy!!

Our good friend Rey is still sadly missed, I'll remember him as long as I live. I spoke to him on the phone, two days before he passed away during surgery.

Great tribute Pete! :)
Here's one of Rey's last creations, I'm glad I have so many on my HD. Here's to you Rey and THANKS for everything you did for us!

Well, *raises virtual glass* cheers to the man I never knew. *drinks*...

Hm, has a very "airy" taste...

Oh well, whoever he was, he must have been a much enjoyed addition to the forums. Nice tribute.

Try "Rey Lopez" in the search files, you'll be amazed how many planes he designed. :)

This is a shot from one of my first posts here. A TAP Lockheed L-1011 designed by Rey Lopez and painted by our other good friend Carlos Flores who hangs out here from time-to-time.

I miss Rey, he was such a warm and generous person. A retired United Airlines 747 Captain. He and I were going to collaborate on a Bell Jet Ranger for FS, sadly that never happened.

I miss him every time I log on to this Forum. He was a true Gentleman.
