Hi guys.

I know you're probrably all busy at the moment but I'd like to make a request for a repaint of the POSKY 737-800 winglet model in this livery with this registration. I'd like the winglet model painting as I have the VC model which I have mated up to the NG panel that comes with the Moach 737.

G-BLKD was the first jet I flew on in 1985 from Birmingham to Treviso when it was only a few weeks fresh from the Boeing factory.

Thanks in advance if anyone could have a go at this project for me at some point.

Andy :)

Andy, something a bit like this.

Early stages yet, got to do a metal underbelly. Jim's tutorial might come in handy.

Cheers Joel, like I said in your own time, didn't expect Simon to jump on the 737 so quickly tbh. :D

Todays progress. Been working on that metal belly.

Only the left hand side has the Alpha Channel, hence why the right hand side is a bit dull.

That's looking incredible Simon. Love it! Looking forward to posting screen shots of when I operate the "delivery flight" from the boeing factory back home to EGBB.

I owe you fella, that bird is looking spot on!

Andy, a few more shots. Tamed the Alpha down on the colours.

You're a bit of a guinea pig really as this is the first time I've tried metallic paintwork, had to do some reading up this afternoon. Quite pleased with the way it's tuned out. Don't know if it's the right way but it seems to work for me.

It's looking brilliant, the bare metal effect looks spot on as do the colours. :D

Thanks Andy. There were plenty of metal textures in the recycle bin by the time I had finished. :D:D:D

:D

I tried learning to paint when I was running FS98 many moons ago. Everything I did looked like those cartoon toy planes you see in the Early Learning Centre.

Everything ended up in the bin :o
