I posted this in the REX Forum a few days ago. Although read 27 times no response as yet.
Anybody here with a comment to make?
REX installed a few days ago - absolutely fabulous ;D
Have used it together with the WX feature (on-line) with excellent results and satisfaction.
However, the weather here is rubbish at this time of year (mostly) and so in order to revel in the "magic" of REX I made a flight from LEAL (Alicante, Spain) to EGCC (Manchester, UK) with the REX WX-engine deactivated prior to set-up of REX. Textures from a theme I created were then loaded into FSX and then FSX was started :P
Using Radar Contact, departure gave me a QNH of 1008mb and Tower at Manchester gave me a QNH 993mb.
Usually, if flying without on-line weather (I have Active Sky) I would only be given the standard QNH of 1013mb regardless of where I am.
Question:
Does REX "compute" a QNH from the theme being used ?
OR
have I managed to get something wrong somewhere ?
Just curious.......................
