Hi everyone,

When I enter the main site (Flightsim.com), I'm getting really weird page scrolling with text overlapping other text. This isn't happening on any other website. Not only that, it's crashing my computer. Interestingly the Forum part of the site is fine. Anyone any clues on what's happening?

Are you using IE 8? We have had a couple reports of this
and have found that other web sites are having the same
sort of problem. As far as we know, it is some sort of bug.
Does this happen with other browsers anyone?

Thank you!
Rick

I'm having the same problem. Everything was fine until a couple of days ago and the scrolling on flightsim.com just went into slow mode. I have been using ie8 for some time now without any problems.
Anyone have any ideas? There is nothing worse than not being able to use my favorite site! :(
Thanks,
Glenn

We have done further investigation. It would appear that
this has been fixed in the latest ie8 updates. If you have
not applied them, please try it and let us know.

We have also found reports that if IE8 is not set to 100%
scale (lower right hand corner of browser), you can get
a lot of slow scrolling effects.

Thank you!

Thanks Rick,
I had to uninstall ie8 and then reinstall.
Now everything is fine. :)

Same thing here but that is right. Lower right hand corner of the browser window, make sure you are set to 100% not higher.
