I just finished building a new computer and loading FSX. I was in it and was playing with the default flight. Now that I have rebooted my computer, I cannot find FSX anywhere in the start menu or as an icon on my screen. How do I find it and start it? This is really wierd.

If I look under control panel the only thing shown there is Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Acceleration

Vista? Hit Start, on the right you will see 'Games' (5th entry down maybe), click on games, FSX will be there. It's the new MS game browser and was mentioned briefly (very) during the Vista setup routine.

Freaked me out 3 years ago too. I didn't like it then and I still don't like it in Win 7. Nothing desktop shortcuts cant fix though.

There it is. Thanks. I never liked Vista.

Paxx, My build went well and I currently have it overclocked to 4.0. I'm sure there is room for tweaking it though. I'll post in the other thread later. Need to run to Six Flags for the day with the kids. Thanks for all your help.
