Who cares about cars..? They're all dog-slow neanderthal heaps of scrap compared to the performance of modern motorcycles.

Suzuki GSXR-1000: 0-100mph and back to nought again - less than ten seconds...

And even a moped will get you across town faster than a Ferrari...

"SMART car..? What's so smart about that? You're still stuck in the same traffic queue. Only shorter."

LAST EDITED ON Oct-06-02 AT 09:37AM (EDT)[p]Stuck in traffic? I don't have that problem unless I'm on a long trip going from Wisconsin to Lower Michigan by way of Chicago, which ALWAYS has some sort of road construction. In that case I prefer comfort. So, presently I drive a '94 Lincoln Continental.

Next purchase? Probably a Saturn.

What do I really want? A Dodge Durango, because I like how they look primarily and secondarily just to tweak the noses of the environmentalist wackos. Or perhaps even a Lincoln Navigator...you know how we Americans just love to dry up the worlds resources...:-lol

http://www.flightsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3da44cba43fdc89b.jpg

Had just been cleared in early June when I snapped a pic of my trusty Dodge "Thunderbolt". Bought her with 40,000 miles in 4/84. When I sold her over 16 years later she had over 365,000 all original inside the 318 except for a timing chain (went @ 273,000). Sold it to help out another vet after I purchased my truck. Said vet still runs her too ... is up to 378,000 now. Fogs for mosquitoes purdy good on start-up (yah, valve guides are done), but hey: she still runs! Is the biggest painting I've ever done ... :-lol ... as I did it by hand with tractor paint. HA!! Really.

And if you, by chance, inform me that you work at the Jackson Lake Lodge then I'll have a few stories fer yas ... :-)

One of the biggest things about the 300 that I like is the fact that nothing out there looks like it....completely set apart.
