Well, I must say, I like it!
It's a nice brake for a change from flying GA and aircraft who's guns do not fire.
It's truly enjoyable (though a pain for the first campaign to do anything else in it) for the game performs really well and nice and smooth.
Looking forward to gettin deeper into the action and be able to explore newer things with it.
Have a great night all! Downloading the second part now of the pack I purchased on Steam.

Very nice, I've heard it's a pretty good game... hang on, which genre is this? Because at the moment, it would seem the PC flight community classes a flight game (e.g Tom Clancy's HAWX) as an entirely different type of game to flight simulation (e.g FSX or DCS BS).
How does it compare to the rather better-known (PC at least) IL-2 1946? They're the same catagory, and IL-2 is considerably cheaper now.
See ya, have a good time shooting down Messerschmidts (how you spell it?) over Germany from the cockpit of a Spit.

Sorry to take so long for the reply.
I have never played IL2, so I can not honestly compare it to the game.
It is funny though, because at work - when I place my screenshots from what ever it is at the momment, FSX, this one, Blazing Angels, people seemed to be shocked and amazed at graphics quality and how well it looks.
I've even managed to convince some people to check it out as well, especially steam users who can get it at an unbelievable deal. :D.

Steam is pretty sweet. Lots of great game demos too. You should check out IL2 Johnny. It really tests your flying skills.
