What are some good rudder pedals for FSX that are fairly cheap but durable and won't break easily.

Saitek ProFlight Rudder Pedals. They are very good and not very expensive.

I had CH pedals for 10 years and upgraded to Saitek last year. Saitek is the better rudder pedal. It is more robust, it adjusts for tension and adjusts for your foot size.
CH pedals do none of those things.

I also have both and prefer the CH pedals. I got the Saitek pedals because I liked the idea of adjustable tension since I fly helos a lot, and wanted to dial it down. The tension adjustment doesn't seem to do anything though, so I went back to my CH pedals. They just feel better to me and they don't need to adjust for foot size. They're pretty much one size fits all. In the end, either one will work well for you, it's a matter of personal preference and which you can get more cheaply, I suppose.
