After landing when I put in a little thrust an alarm sounds and only turns off when I reduce thrust. I know why this happens when taking off but not after I have landed at my destination. Wondering what I am doing wrong.
Thanks.

Spoilers retracted, flaps up or at 5 and see if you get this warning.

After retracting the flaps and spoilers down I still get the alarm. I've also noticed that air conditioning is lit up in the warning window next to MCP. Packs are on from the minute I start engines until I shut down after a flight. I've tried doing different things on the overhead panel but cant get the light to go off.
Push the plugs in a little farther? What is this?
Thanks.

What you are hearing in reality is what is known as a Takeoff Warning Horn.
The horn sounds when you push the throttles up past 20 or 30 percent of Quadrant Travel (Not N2 or N1), with the flaps in the Full up position. If you reduce the throttle or drop the flaps to the first position the horn will cease to sound. That is the way it works in real life and I assume with PMDG modeling their aircraft as close to reality as they do, that it is the case here as well. It might be noted that if you have the Throttle position up past 20 or 30 percent of travel then you might be trying to taxi a little fast. Taxi speeds on straights are generally limited to 18 to 20 knots and for corners down around 8 knots.

Thanks, that helps a lot. I will keep the flaps to the 1 position until reaching the terminal/gate. The POSKY 737-900 I'm using is taking around 45% thrust to get it going from a standstill.
