is there gonna be another firecracker run?

hey guys, been a long time, hope u all are doing fine or even better :D

i was wondering if theres gonna be another race, to be precise another firecracker run.

can it be done on Jets?
men i`m tired of those props, they are way too slow... :D

Jet racing will be more exciting, more adrenaline and fast paced moves :rolleyes:

we can fly multiple categories, for example: single engined jets american, single engined jets overseas imports :D, or twin jets either american or imported models. using duenna to make things right and everything done.

anyway the winner will be ME. LoL!!!

We have quite a few events being planned at the moment, but as far as I know the Firecracker Run wasn't one of them. Of course, our schedule of events (when we actually do have a schedule of events!) is always subject to change.

By the way, what are these "slow" props you keep harping about? :D

but i have an unlimited racer in my hangar. prop...

i do preffer jets, maybe we can use them to change the routine, as most of the events here are flown with props, even the big ones -RTW-

I'd like to see another Firecracker.. I had "loading" problems and could not make last years race, after two "intense" weeks of practicing..
That said, would like to see the race done in something with a bit more horspower.. Possibly B-26Ks? Maybe even the B-25J.. both twin engines, but tricycle gear.. and some "go fast" under the hood.

I should probably step in here...
The FC Run has been a gas the last two years, and the "Firecracker" name was simply in reference to the race being held in July. This year thanks to Redgreen, Ed, Austin and others we have a boatload of events lined up. I did not even mention FC as there seemed to be a ton of momentum towards other things... and that's cool, makes me very happy to see so much interest in the Flightsim MP group. We really could have the FC any ole time as it is ready to go with scenery and rules... an event in a box so to speak. I would suggest we address those that would like another run with an event a bit later, the first annual pumpkin run... or whatever. Leave the current schedule in place, they will all be a gas! Thanks for the nice comments about the race... makes the effort to put one together worth it!

I have been very busy with my real job, flew all this weekend...mapping. I miss hanging out with the FSMP, these events always give me a reason spend some time with a great group of folks.
