Another logging in question

So I don't have a problem logging in or out, but I am wondering: Does closing the browser not automatically log one out? I am using Firefox by the way, and just happened to notice although FF is not running, when I open the forums in IE it shows I'm still online......and no, I am not logged in in IE. Kinda of late to notice that I know, but I assumed closing the browser logs me out. Hope that made sense.

Every time I open FF, I'm logged in (remember me turned on), but it does show the correct time I "last visited". Any ideas?

The "remember me" is doing just that----remembering you as logged in. Just closing out your browser does not sign you out if you have checked the "Remember me" box.

Thank you much Darrell, didn't realize that a bit!! Guess I've been logged in 24/7 so far.......:o
I thought the Remember Me was for returning only, that it would log one back in. I'll check to uncheck it right now.......
