Hello I have download the installer and some of the AI packages. I am running FS9 and Vista. I open the installer and change the target to Flight Simulator 2004 but the FS2004 path is empty. I tried manually typing in C:
Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\ Flight Simulator 9 and it still does not install right. I have tried to remove the packages I have installed including uninstalling FS9. Because when I try to reinstall the packages it say they already exist. How do you get them to install in the right place and how do you remove them so I can start fresh?
Thanks for your time Mike

Can't advise regarding what Vista may require - but in the installer if you go to the "expert mode" it will show you the packages you have installed (assuming they were installed correctly) and allow you to remove any or all of them.
Others who run Vista (I use XP) may be able to offer some suggestions.
Hope that helps a little bit.

Make sure your target is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. And where the FS2004 path is there is a button on the right hand side that you can click on to make sure you have it set to the right path mine is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\ then you should be all set to go.

C:Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\ Flight Simulator 9 indicates you are using a 64-bit version of Windows Vista.
I hope you do not have much payware/ addons loaded on that computer.
I've seen many recommendations to not use the (x86) path/folder for Flight Simulator. Several threads on problems with that path.
When I added a 64-bit computer - I did my install in a separate folder C:\MSGames.
As noted above, use the automatic parts of the installer to find your FS9 install. If that does not work, I would recommend you remove FS9 and reinstall in a different folder with a simple name.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

To both of you, try right clicking the installer program and choose Run As Administrator.
Hope this helps,

Have you searched for the error on the World of AI forums?
Have you followed the tutorial video on their forums on how to eliminate the error?
