I am missing A LOT of my data in the standard GPS that comes with FS9. I have no ILS for any airport and have very basic info like direct to and thats it.
What CD would I use to restore the missing files? It's a pain missing so much!!

These resources will help:
http://www.cat-tamer.com/flightsim/faq001.html
It shows where everything is on your install disks and how extract just what you need.
I also recommend fs9cddir.zip - compiled by Brian Collins (available here in the library)
This is an Excel format listing of all the files on your install disks. A great resource to keep handy.
Good Luck! :)

Upon further inspection, it seems to only be airports in the Southern Ontario area that have problems. I plugged in Portland and like a million different approaches showed up. Perhaps I should disable that scenery and then enable it again?

It never hurts to try.

Crap!
I thought it fixed it, because the map looks better... turns out the GPS is still whacked.
Its just Ontario and western New York... everywhere else seems fine..

I would try disabling any and all scenery add-ons you have which are anywhere near the area in question.
If the problem goes away, then add them back in a couple at a time until the culprit shows up.
That would include any terrain enhancements you have installed also.
Good luck!

The info for the GPS is part of the default airport files, which begin with AP9. None of the FS9 airport editors can work with the GPS data. Normally that isn't a problem, unless a developer starts changing runway numbers. But, there have been instances where developers have had some issues with the default airports, and have hacked the default airport files in various ways. Unfortunately, since none of the tools work with the GPS data, it is easy to accidently screw up the default GPS data when hacking the files. So I would look in your name\scenery folder for any AP9 files which have been modified and restore the originals.
