Hello All
Flightsim .com is one of my regular visits each day to check out files, forums etc.I like my daily visits but for one thing. If for instance I am checking out an aircraft file I might decide to examine the zip file and maybe check out the livery paint job.Now this is my problem if I click on JPEG to review said paint if when finished i close the image i get logged out completly from FSCom.
Basically my question is..Why can only use 'back' to stay logged in and not 'close' when browsing FSCom
Is it perhaps a niggly shmiggly designed to get us to pay up for premium service.
This only happens at FSCom not the other sites I visit.
Cheers to all
Andy

Hello there
I have just added FSCom to my allowed cookies. I use Mozilla by the way.I am just about to try and see if that makes any difference.
cheers Andy

Don't "close" the page - use your BACK button instead. ;)

Thanks David
I did realise that you had to use the back button.I just wondered why FScom chose this method for browsing. It can be a bit frustrating at times .
Cheers Andy:)

Chris,
You are not the only one that when you click on 'View' to zip dive contents and then click on bmp or text to view will then get booted when you 'X' out. We ALL have to remember to use 'back arrow'. We ALL occasionally accidently do this to ourselfs, when we're not paying attention or are distracted (or 'hung over'). ('DRAT' is the usual audible reaction).

It is NOT a ploy to make you 'pay up' for using the site - Nels, the site owner, would NEVER do any such thing. Even accusing him makes me wonder about YOU. So if 'it only happens here but not at the other sites' then perhaps you should go to those 'other sites'.

And, oh, I myself am a paying member, and am glad to support any way I can. This resource is worth a LOT more than the small fee. To me it's 'PRICELESS', like they say.

This is a problem that we are aware of and are working
to fix. It is part of a larger problem with scaling the image
size to the browser when we add the menu bars that help
you navigate the site. We have not found a way to get
the browser window size back before we size the image.
Only the browser knows for sure!

We are all working hard on the site to improve it and keep
you guys/gals happy!

Best regards,
Rick
