I'm been having lately after 20-30 minutes of flying this window message ...
.[Thank you for trying Microsoft Flight Simulator X - the Demo time limit has expired and FS will now shut off ] the screen goes black ... and that's the end of my flight.

Can somebody explain me why is this appening? ..my system: Intel Core 2 Quad-2.4GHz - 4G ram - GForce 8800 Ultra
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

I had this very same issue when I installed at first. Here's what you do: you need to uninstall the whole thing, including deleting all folders. Reboot. Install base FSX again, register/activate and then fly a flight BEFORE you do ANYTHING else! That way the installation finishes correctly. If you have Acceleration also install that now, register/activate again and fly another flight so this installation also finishes correctly. Only after this is done start installing add-ons. Not to worry, it took me 5 installs to get it right!

Not to worry with 5 installs?? :eek:If you try to install it more the 3 times you have to call Microsof (probably somebody in Mumbay) and you will get a new code consisting of something like 7x7 numbers. So not to worry, is like saying you'll be sick for 4 weeks, not to worry eventually you'll get better. :) I'm always worried when FSX crashes because it could mean al kinds of trouble: virusses, memory giving up, HD-crashes. Something wrong with the software, pc overcklocked too far and a reinstall (with a telephone call to an arrogant b**rd, who will make you feel like a criminal, somewhere far away) But now to the positive side: there are several things one could do: 1 get rid of the FSX.cfg and have the program build you a new one. Doesn't work? Try this one, open the program using the "kiosk" setup and save the flight as "whatever" you like to name it short would be something like A or 1 (keyboard "; " without ") and make it the startup flight in the checkbox. It's worth the try it saved my day once. :)

Nope, never had to call Microsoft, it re-activated just fine.
