Yesterday I took a VFR flight from Eagle County (KEGE) to Boulder Jeffco (KBJC), following Interstate 70. It was a great flight in FSX because the entire I-70 corridor is now in place in FSX. Most of I-70 was missing in FS9. However, when I got to where the Eisenhower Tunnel is, the AI cars and trucks that had been traveling on I-70, began a steep hill climb up and over the top of the ridge where the tunnel should be.
My question is this. Is it possible to design a scenery to create the Eisenhower Tunnel in FSX? I know nothing about scenery design in FSX. Could the section of highway that goes over the top of the mountain be removed and scenery of the tunnel entrances placed where the highway deadends on each side of the mountain to simulate traffic going into the mountain? Would AI traffic continue if the highway is cut in two?
Thanks for the help.
