Well guys, I guess I will be 'grounded' for part of the weekend (hopefully that is all:eek:) My FS2004 has crashed.
The scenery.cfg file apparently became corrupted, and inspite of all the helpful advice I received from the nice folks on the main FS2004 forum, I finally have to admit defeat tonight... I formatted the entire FS hard drive a few minutes ago. Next task is to format the ENTIRE computer system and reload everything (Windows, etc.) I guess it is about time for a fresh restart anyways.
I will leave you with this picture till I return. It's a Piper Tomahawk II, originally designed for FS2000 and updated for FS2002. I have flown more hours than I can remember with this particularly enjoyable airplane in years past ~ it was such fun! I had loaded it into FS2004 to make some pictures last week. Unfortunately, in the FS9 platform none of the animations are active and the prop textures are missing. However, it is a fine example of the superb quality textures that Carenado has always been famous for in their outstanding line of GA airplane models! Currently the JustFlight version is the only surviving payware aircraft model flying the FS skies these days.
Watch for a series of screenshots coming later this weekend of this latest flight with the Tomahawk.
