Lost all effects except defaults

After the crash I began taking stock of what was recoverable and what was lost. All the afcad stuff is gone. The good news is most of it was large groups of Chinese and Russian airports so those can be reloaded. Add on scenery, same thing. Aircraft , gauges and sounds were fully backed up to DVD. The folder that will be hard to replace was the effects folder. Just about every good D/L has effects attached to it. So I'm faced with D/L most of the planes to get effects back again OR to ask if some kind soul has an ftp site they could put their effects folder on, so I could reload from there. It will save an enormous amount of time. Or if someone has a better idea, I'm open to suggestions. I'm not looking forward to D/L 500 planes just to get the effects. My email account is good for 10mb maybe that will work as well. If zipped it should be reasonable size.

Useless ... if the effects loaded are not corresponding for your 500 planes.
Nevertheless you will have EG the effects for 400 of your planes you will not know what planes effects are missing ... :) ...

Better to save all files you download ... more easy when such problem as your happend.

I think if you look carefully you'll see many effects are used by different planes. I'd gamble there is enough commonality to provide effects for a number that are missing. Either way I'd have something to work with because now I have nothing. With a selection it's not rocket science to add what's in the folder to what needs effects. I'm not asking anyone to violate copyrights or Eula agreements, just for a little help.
