A couple of friends from my flying club know I am an avid simmer and asked me to build them systems already loaded with all of the goodies and trimmed out so they could just plug in and fly.
Because they were friends, I just built the systems and bought registered copies of all the payware stuff and charged them what it cost me.
I mean I built everything from scratch and then tweaked Windows, added FS and all of the payware goodies we all spend hours downloading. I even added repaints of certain planes and a lot of personal touches from my years of simming.
It got me to thinking that there might be other simmers that aren't gifted at building systems, working with software or tweaking every last bit out of it like I am.
Is there any ethical problem with me putting together a few systems already loaded with licensed copies of software (individually paid for and registered) then selling the complete systems for a small profit for my labor?
I'd especially like to hear from some of the payware developers since I'd love to endorse your products but don't want to step on anyone's toes. I guess it wouldn't matter since I'm paying for each software copy. Either way I just want to make sure before I embark.
