I thought I would consolidate and simplify my post. The latest WGA, Windows Genuine Advantage program now seems to have teeth, I'm told that now it can reach out and shut off Windows XP or Vista. In the past I used to think that that is a terrible idea and unfriendly. However I discovered something that changed my opinion. A repair shop installed xp that did not pass the WGA test. Suddenly, I thought that that is a very bad thing if you're an employee working there being told to install XP that is not measuring up to the WGA test, and also a bad thing if you're one of the angry customers who receives such an installation. So now I think, maybe the WGA is a good thing.

So, in conclusion:

THANK YOU MICROSOFT!!!!

What is your opinion?
